Today I visited the global lounge. First we learned what the global lounge is for. The global lounge is for people who want to have a tutoring session with Vio, people who want to watch a movie in english, or you can even play board games and iPad games. After that, we played "scrabble". I knew this game because I have it at my house. It was a bit difficult but I think it will help with my grammar and spelling. In the end I played "hangman" on an iPad. It was difficult but it was interesting.

I read "The Valiant Little Tailor". The story starts with a little tailor killing seven flies with one blow. The tailor goes out in the wide world and meets giants and convinces them that he had killed 7 people in one strike. Later on he ends up in a kingdom and makes the king and his men believe the he is indeed a  force to be reckoning with. A giant , a unicorn and a princess come out in the story and it has a cunning sense of humor .

Goldilocks and the Bears The story starts by introducing 3 bears. One Very big, another medium sized and the last small. The bears had a porridge bowl, a chair and a bed, each fitting their size. One day, the bears made porridge for breakfast and went off in the woods to cool down the food. While they were waiting, a girl named Goldilocks was out in the woods to do some errands. Heading towards her destination, she saw the house of the 3 bears. She looked in and saw the bowls of porridge and checked if there was anyone inside. Luckily the bears were out so she made her way in the house. This girl had no manners and was a rude one so she started eating the porridge from the big bowl and then the medium bowl but she didn't like them both. She had the bowl of porridge from the small one and it was just right for her, she ate it all. After eating and getting tired, she headed to the chairs. Seating herself on the big chair,she didn't like it. Same for the medium one but the small o

The Frog Prince Once upon a there was a king. This king had beautiful daughters and out of all them the youngest was so pretty even the sun was astonished. This youngest daughter had a golden ball that she treasured. One day when she was in the forest playing with her ball, the ball accidentally fell in a well. when crying, a frog came up to her suggesting to  help only if she promised to let him live with her. She accepted and had her plaything back to her hands. after she breaks her promise and runs of to the kingdom. The next day arrived and while she was having a meal, the frog showed up and knocked on the door for his promise. The princess refused but her father, the king, told her    "That which thou hast promised must thou perform. Go and let him in.". She let him in and did as he told. When he tried to sleep together the princess threw the frog to the wall and in a blink of an eye the frog turn into a charming prince.  On the following day , the prince's carriage

The Golden Goose I also read " The Golden Goose ".  There once was a man who had 3 sons. The 2 elders were clever but far from kind, however the youngest, Dummling, was dumb but kind. One day the eldest brother went into the woods to cut some trees and met an old man. The man asked him for some food and a drink but he rejected him and got injured cutting the tree. Next the second went, and the same thing happened. At last he youngest went and gave the man shared his supplies. When he cut the tree a golden goose came out from the roots. Dummling went to an inn that night to rest and many things happen there. The next day he goes to a city which was ruled by a king. The princess there never laughed so the king said "whoever makes the princess laughs will marry her". What do you think happened after that?

New York Cafe  written by Michael Dean  This story starts with an e-mail coming from S.Fuller to a bank saying "Take one cent from 5000000 people and send it S.Fuller". Nobody knows where this e-mail came from. An e-mail was sent to New York Cafe saying he good at computers so he's wondering if he can help people. The man answers the e-mail and wishes to help the person whose sending the e-mail. These e-mail start escalating and finally comes to a point to sending an message to the president. The content is that he has missiles in the sky and if the president send money to the poor people he will land the missiles. While the missiles are in the sky the helper gets caught. I was surprised when I got to know the master mind behind these e-mails.

Mr Bean (The Palace of Bean)  This is a story about a man, Bean, who likes the queen of England. One day Bean gets a video of the queen that's choosing the wallpaper of her room. She starts choosing a yellow one, so Bean copies her and paints his wall the same color. He puts a sign that says "the Palace" and many people start coming to visit his room. Everyone gives 5￡ for the entrance fee, and since the owner of the apartment needed some money for her bills she takes all of the earnings for her self. Bean gets fed up with her starts watching the queens video again.   I liked what happened in the end and it kind of gave me my childhood memories.
